We stayed at Marina View 5-9 October 2008. A terrific place to stay and highly recommended!!!! Jose Maria was the perfect host...very helpfull and lots of knowledge about Barcelona restaurants and attractions. We give Marina View 5 stars*****.

We stayed at the Marina View for three days and found it to meet our needs very well. Thw Maremagnum room has all of the amenities that are found in the best hotels. Jose Maria helped us find our way around the city and assisted us with navigating the Metro system. All of the comments in the guest book are quite accurate and we certainly recommend it to people visiting Barcelona. The early morning assistance with a taxi and moving our luggage was beyond expectations.

Marina View is a very very wondeful place to stay. We loved Barcelona and i think that staying here really helped us to fully enjoy the city. Jose showed us wonderful places to eat as well as told us about good places to visit. I am going to tell everyone i know to go to barcelona and stay here. it was wonderful.

Wir verbrachten drei Tage in Barcelona und das marinaview war der perfekte Ausgangspunkt um alle Sehenswürdigkeit zu Fuß bzw. per Metro zu erreichen. Das Columbus-Zimmer hat einen sehr schönen Ausblick auf den Hafen, die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Jose Maria war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Für unseren nächsten Aufenthalt in Barcelona werden wir wieder das Marinaview auswählen.

THE MARINA VIEW IS A PERFECT PLACE TO STAY IN BARCELONA. JOSE MARIA MADE US MOST WELCOME AND MADE OUR STAY MORE ENJOYABLE. THE COLUMBUS ROOM WAS BRIGHT, CLEAN AND VERY COMFORTABLE, WITH A BRILLIANT VIEW OF THE MARINA. WOULD NOT HESITATE TO STAY HERE AGAIN

Marina View is a great place to stay and a very convenient location for shopping, sightseeing and the beach. Jose Maria made us really welcome and keeps the place immaculately clean. Lots of little touches - e.g umbrellas and books provided! - made us glad we had not chosen the anonymity of a big hotel. We enjoyed our breakfast, served in the room and the view out across the harbour.

Marina View ci è stato consigliato da amici. Abbiamo trascorso cinque giorni a Barcelona, e ci siamo trovati estremamente bene per quanto riguarda la camera e l'accoglienza di Jose Maria. In più il B&B è in una posizione strategica per la visita della città. Grazie Mille per la cordialità ricevuta, speriamo a presto ! Ciao

A friend who had stayed with Jose Maria several years ago told me about Marina View when she heard that we were taking a cruise that ended in Barcelona. We stayed for three nights earlier this week and were amazed at the great location, beautiful room (we got the new Captain's Cabin, which was very nicely appointed) and the wonderful host. And what a value! We are not normally Bed and Breakfast-types, and this place was perfect for us. Almost like having an apartment, with a private concierge. We absolutely recommend staying with Jose Maria, but be sure to book ahead! We got the last room available and booked in early May, for a late September stay. We want to return to Barcelona (3 days is not enough!) and wwill definitely stay here again.

Our honeymoon was in Spain, the Marina View B&B was out first stop. Our host could not have been more gracious. He treated us to some cava and chocolate covered almonds, which was much appreciated. The location is perfect, within walking distance of so many special places in Barcelona. The breakfast was delicious, the view outstanding. Recommendations and helpful tips were plentiful. We would highly recommend staying at this delightful hotel.

this is one of the nicest b and b's we have ever stayed in- the location is perfect- central to Las Ramblas, the beach, the on-and- off buses and the port. The owner is delightful- very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is delicious and beautifully served in your room, the rooms are very clean and provided with everything one might need, and the bed was really comfortable. I can't wait to go back to Barcelona and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.

rooms were not very big but clean, very friendly innkeeper, close to the ramblas, very pleasant neighbourhoud (the port vell) with lots of restaurants, breakfast ok

we have just returned from a three night stay at the marina veiw and would recommend it . Jose was very helpfull and only 100 meters from la rambla

Notre hôte Jose fut parfait pendant notre séjour à Barcelone. Son établissement est propre et bien tenu. De plus, Marina View Bed and Breakfast est très bien situé près du Centre et des lieux de vie...

We stayed at Jose's B&B for three nights. The maremagnum room was excellent with a great view and the freshly made breakfast was superb. At our next visit to barcelona we would definitely consider staying here again, highly recommended.

Stayed here with 4 friends for 3 nights and had a fabulous time. Lovely rooms and hospitality from Jose. And great breakfast.
