I would just like to say thanks very much for your hospitality during our stay from the 31st August 2009. We found Barcelona a fantastic City but it was made even more special for meeting Mila. My wife and I thought that the Marina View was probably the best place we've ever stayed and we could not have asked for better hosts. Thanks again. Hope its not too long before we return with our family.

I have stayed at Marina View twice, the first time we were on vacation, the second time I came for business alone. Both stays have been very pleasant. During my last stay Mila did much more than could be expected to serve an early (and very good) breakfast, and make sure that my taxi arrived early in the morning of my departure. I hope to return soon.

we stayed end of august 2009 4 nights . it is a wonderfull place with a very nice welcome , very close to the center & all nice places to visit due to the metro connection on line 3 . We occupied captain & columbus rooms with a very nice view on new harbour . perfect breakfast , large rooms nicely furnished. it was perfect.

A fantastic place to stay! I stay here with my girl friend for 2 nights in august, the location is great, the room is excellent - very classy and well decorated the view of of the marina is really impressive! and the staff were incredibly helpful and so friendly I also stayed in a big 4 star hotel during my stay, room top pool etc marina view was so much better, when coming back to Barcelona I would definitely try to stay here again!!

I stayed at the Marina View in July with my 16 year old son as part of a 10 day trip around Spain. We both loved our stay here. Mila was an outstanding hostess and we missed her at our nest destination. Breakfast was amazing and it was so nice to wake-up to the smell of fresh bread in the oven. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. Our view from the Columbus room was breath taking, and there was a great ocean breeze that came in from the marina. As far as location is concerned we were able to walk to the beach, shopping and many of the sights without any problems. We would definately recommend staying here and when we get back to Barcelona we wouldn't stay any where else.

My husband and I very much enjoyed our two night stay in the Columbus room. The room was bright, clean and airy with a spectacular view. Mila helped us figure out what to see and where to eat. She was so patient with us! Breakfast in the room was lovely and Mila even prepared a small breakfast for me to eat as I was rushing to the airport early in the morning.

Fue solo una noche, pero alcanzó para apreciar las bondades del hostal: buenísima onda la de Mila y de José María, estupenda vista desde nuestra comodisima habitación (Maremagnum), y la ubicación es perfecta sobre todo en verano. Fue un verdadero placer, y espero poder volver con más tiempo.

My daughters and I enjoyed five nights at Marina View. Mila was an exceptional hostess, very informative and helpful. We arrived 10 minutes before the Tour de France passed by the hotel and she made sure we were properly welcomed and comfortable. The streets below were madness and Mila projected an air of calm upstairs. The breakfasts in our room were a great way to start the day. We can't wait to return to Marina View!

In July 209, we stayed for four nights in the Pier room which was of an excellent standard. Our reception upon arrival was welcoming and informative. The breakfast was prompt and nutritious and the room was cleaned efficiently and effectively. The location was ideal for the beach, harbour and Las Ramblas and close to all forms of public transport. However, we should also highlight the constant and friendly help and information given to us by Mila.

Marina View is superb for those who need to be in Barcelona to join a cruise ship. The location is perfect, close to the seafront and only a 5 minute walk - or less - to the Port Bus stop. The accommodation is excellent, the hostess exceedingly pleasant and happy to assist with information to make your stay in Barcelona a great one. Forget your hotels, I'd go to Marina View every time.

I stayed in the Fisherman's room with my brother for several nights - his first time abroad. The friendly atmosphere; excellent service; advice & local knowledge from Mila; and brilliant location of the guesthouse, all combined to make it a wonderful holiday.

We stayed in the Columbus room for 3 nights in June 2009 and can't recommend this accommodation highly enough. Facilities, host (Mila) and location are excellent. The aircon is a real bonus. The Ramblas, gothic quarter and Port are no more than 10 mins walk, the beach and easy 15. Will definately use this again when we return.

My wife and I stayed in the Columbus room for two nights at the end of our cruise around the Mediterranean. We enjoyed listening to the sounds of the waterfront and the activity on Paseo de Colon from our 4th floor balcony. We could not have been happier with the location, the facilities and our hostess Mila. She went out of her way to provide a warming welcome, instructions and directions, maps etc., Not to mention a delicious breakfast delivered to your room when you want it. We would very strongly recommend the Marina View Bed & Breakfast. Great location to Las Ramblas, the Marina, the restaurants of Barceloneta. You can't go wrong with this choice. Not a big expensive hotel with a dozen palms stretched out to you. Like living in a private Barcelona apartment. Come and go as you please. Oh yes, I forgot to mention IT HAS A FUNCTIONING ELEVATOR.

We spent one night at Marinaview in the harbour view room. We cannot say enough about the property- beautiful, spotless room, perfect view, great location, lovely breakfast. Mila was a delight & truly couldn't do enough for us. It was the perfect beginning to our adventure. Thanks so much!
